Video journalist, specialist in digital communication and branded content, and professional blogger at Mochileros TV. I’ve been working in the communications sector (Radio MARCA, Telecinco, Antena 3, etc.) for more than 20 years and for a decade as a consultant, content creator and event producer in the tourism sector. I took my first steps in television co-presenting a travel section on the programme Tips on Spanish national TV channel La2. In 2014, I was nominated for the Goya Awards in the category of Best Documentary Short Film with La Alfombra Roja. In 2006, I ventured out on my big trip: from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego by public transport. Some 45,000 kms, 15 countries and 11 months of travelling. And I haven’t stopped travelling since. I spent a year in India working as a correspondent for the EFE news agency. And I’m always coming up with new projects – like this one!
Adrienne Mahsa Varkiani is a journalist and writer currently based in Washington, D.C. She has lived in four countries, and traveled to many more. In the United States, she regularly goes on road trips on the East Coast. Her work has appeared in Slate, Teen Vogue, Mic, The Counter, Extra Crispy, ThinkProgress, and more.
Video producer with a degree in journalism and soon to be backpackers hostel owner from the Netherlands living in Spain. Travelled through Indonesia for a year in 2018, lived in Lombok for 4 months, drove through Europe in a VW van (also got around by car and boat), was hiking for three days in the Andes (without a guide), visited Nicaragua and did a lot of citytrips among other things. Live like you mean it and say yes more often!
I am a cultural tourist and a self-professed castle, architecture and art lover. I’m the happiest when exploring ancient ruins, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, cultural sites and museums. I am an avid traveller and love to road trip around as much as I can. Epic landscapes and stunning coastal roads are some of my fave places to drive around. I run two travel blogs: Kasiawrites is about cultural adventures and Amongst Romans focuses on my love for Italy. In my spare time, I write mystery novels.
I'm an avid traveler who loves finding unique places to visit in my city, state, region, and beyond. My first overseas trip was to France and Belgium when I was 11. I spent extended time in Europe while I was in college. I am very food-driven in my travels and love finding the best eats and treats, and almost always hit up a brewery when I'm in a new city!
As a travel blogger and freelance writer I've visited over 50 countries, focusing on unique and sometimes offbeat local experiences as well as luxurious and quirky accommodation. I've worked for a number of specialist tour operators and travel agencies, creating content, planning trip itineraries, and even on the ground in operational roles, so I know the travel industry inside out. I've also been writing my blog, Conversant Traveller, for 10 years, and have undertaken several blogging adventures to places like Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Morocco. I travel with my husband, because two's company.
I'm Andrea, a 7-year ex-pat turned into a full-time traveler in constant search of adventure and Wifi. I created a travel blog in 2016 as a passion project to share my travel stories with my family and friends. I've been traveling full-time since 2018 and don't plan on stopping anytime soon.
I am an avid traveller and I am always excited to see new places. I feel changed with every new place if it's even a tiny neighbourhood. I have been travelling for a decade now and not planning to stop soon. There are many places to see here on Earth before considering a trip to Mars.
Traveling solo is my jam but I often travel with my husband and two sons. Their needs have shifted my perspective, but not too much. I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area and frequently travel around the United States and Europe (plenty of family there, too). I typically focus my travel experiences around food/restaurants, interesting cultural sites, art and connection with the outdoors. I like to read a book about the place I am visiting while I am there. Countries I have traveled to include: Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Cuba and most Caribbean islands; Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, India; Morocco; Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Britain, Ireland, Scotland. I have lived in Chile, Spain, Switzerland and the United States.
After 17 years as a tour guide on four continents, Monika Fuchs works full-time as a travel blogger. She loves road trips. On her travels around the world she has discovered many routes that took her along beautiful and fascinating routes. She has been publishing travel tips, city portraits and tour suggestions since 2001 on her travel blog TravelWorldOnline about Slow Travel and Trips to Savor together with her husband. She is particularly interested in regional specialities, sights that show the culture and history of a region, and experiences that allow her to get to know the local people and their everyday lives
I have been traveling and digital nomading for the past 10 years. I spend my summers in my home country Turkey and travel to warm destinations in South East Asia and Latin America in the winters.
Curiosity leads me. I'm a travel writer slowly making my way across the globe to see and understand different ways of living. My first stop in any new area is to a grocery store—I like to see the prepared foods ready to take away, the packaging, the cleanliness, the democratic mix of people shopping, the smells and all the packaged foods that tell a story of what the place is all about. Next, a park—how does this new place create a nature space for the residents? And then, walking, walking and walking... I write cultural guidebooks and travel/lifestyle articles in places like the Los Angeles Times, BBC Travel, Hemispheres, LA Parent and Travel + Leisure. I also write children's books. Have a gander at my work at www.elisaparhad.com.
