- Enjoy amazing cliff top views across the English Channel.
- Visit pretty little fishing villages.
- Discover remnants of World War I and II.
- Eat the best seafood you ever have tried.
If you are in need to take a big breath of fresh marine air, then it's a two-day trip for you! The Opal Coast is stretching 120km from the Belgian border to the Somme Bay, but the most spectacular part lays between Calais and Boulogne-sur-Mer. You will have a lot to see and discover, with some impressive lofty chalk cliffs, amazing sandy beaches and charming seaside towns.
From Calais to Boulogne-sur-Mer you will be driving all the way on the D940, one of the most beautiful routes in France, butnot frequently used by tourists. You will also get the chance to visit the northern cities of Calais and Boulogne-sur-Mer, where you can find the largest aquarium of Europe.
