    • Immerse yourself in the wild forest of the Morvan.
    • Hike around the Settons and Pannecière lakes.
    • Visit the castle of Vauban.
    • Admire the Basilica of Vézelay.
Located in the heart of Burgundy, the Morvan Regional Park is truly a nature haven. Covered with dense woodlands and pristine lakes, it is called the "little Canada" of France. It covers a total area of 285,000 hectares, straddling four different departments: Côte-d'Or, Nièvre, Saône-et-Loire and Yonne.
In two days, you won't be able to discover it all, but you will have a good glimpse of it. This route offers a good combination of nature and culture. The Morvan is not only a natural paradise, it also harbours historical and architectural gems including the Bazoches castle or the Basilica of Vézelay.
Get ready for a wonderful journey to recharge your batteries. Don't forget to equip properly for outdoors activites. Morvan' vast forests and great lakes are ideal for hiking, fishing and a wide range of water sports.
