Hello everyone, I'm Daniele Tupputi and my tour will focus on Apulian food and wine.
In particular, among the cities that I would like to propose for food and wine are: Bari, Altamura, Gravina di Puglia, Andria and lastly Martina Franca. If you appreciate good food and wine, this is surely the best tour for you! Let's come with me and have a good time in my wonderful region!
This project has been realised by Daniele Tupputi, student of the ITS Course - Trani Campus "Digitalisation and digital creativity in tourism and cultural activities" (A.A. 2021-2022), within the Module "Digital storytelling workshop: narrative scripts for the cultural valorisation of the territory", coordinated by Elisa Bonacini.

Gastronomy of Gravina
The municipality is part of the Slowfood network of cities. The certified products are Gravina PDO white food, Pallone di Gravina Slow Food presidium and 14 PAT products. Historiographical notes indicate Gravina as a city of wheat and wine ("Grana Dat et Vina": "offers wheat and wine") as written in the coat of arms of the city. In the manuscripts present at the Ettore Pomarici Santomasi foundation, the writer Domenico Nardone cited the countryside of Gravina as one of the most fertile lands in the province that offers all kinds of products; of the same opinion was the emperor Frederick II of Swabia, who described Gravina as a "garden of delights"

Gastronomy of Martina Franca
The sparkling climate, thanks to the presence of oaks and aromatic Mediterranean plants, is perfect for the production of the famous Capocollo of Martina Franca, a local sausage protected by a consortium that guarantees its quality and is a Slow Food presidium.
The not excessively humid and torrid climate of the area favours the cultivation of vineyards from which excellent local wines such as Primitivo Tarantino and Bianco d'Alessano are produced. In the woods of the area it is possible to find cardoncelli mushrooms with which to prepare tasty dishes.
