The panorama of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo and the road to Cortina

After breakfast there are plenty of curves to drive, a nice on-the-road adventure awaits you on your way back to Verona. First stop the viewpoint of the 3 Cime di Lavaredo. They will be seen from afar, but it is just a taste of going all the way to the base of the mountains, past Lake Misurina.
From here the 3 Croci Pass separates you from Cortina, another jewel of the Alps and famous for hosting the Olympics (in 1956, but also the next one, in 2026) and a vacation destination for many Italian VIPs.
From Cortina you travel to Feltre and to Bassano, both nice stops for an aperitif before arriving in Verona. Enjoy your trip!

    Rifugio Auronzo

We recommend that you arrive here, park and walk around (all or part of) the 3 peaks, return to the refuge and have lunch. The main access to the Auronzo Refuge is definitely by car from Misurina (m.1750), via the 7-km scenic road (with toll). You will arrive direttanebte at the foot of the Three Peaks of Lavaredo. Have a good tour and lunch.

    Corso Italia - shops

Passing over a mountain pass (the 3 Croci Pass) you arrive in Cortina, a world-famous destination. If you want to take a short shopping break or even just explore the village streets, you have less than an hour. Otherwise, even driving through the small town will make you understand why it is a vacation destination for so many famous people.

    Piazza Maggiore

Feltre is a town on the way back; it would be a shame not to stop and soak up the atmosphere of the central square. Then continue on to Bassano del Grappa.

    Ponte Vecchio (Ponte degli Alpini)

Bassano del Grappa, charming historic town and home of Aperol Spritz and cheap aperitifs. Choose a bar not far from the Old Bridge to sip a well-deserved aperitif and toast to your adventure, now at an end! Cheers!
