Nature south of Plovdiv

Early in the morning, on the way, it is definitely worth stopping by Argento La Caffetteria. The atmosphere of the place is very hospitable and soothing, the interior is made in wood colors, instead of chairs the visitors sit in soft armchairs. The menu has a large choice of desserts and pastries; various berry cakes, croissants and ice-cream are especially popular.

The first stop today will be near the impressive ancient castle of Asen's Fortress. Thanks to the work of archaeologists and restorers today, tourists can understand what this place was like in the Middle Ages. Once there was a lot of life here, there were a huge number of different economic and military buildings, and the interior was decorated with stone frescoes and other decorative elements inherent in the Bulgarian architecture of those years.

One of the most beautiful places south of Plovdiv is Krstova Gora. Dense and almost untouched forests surround the summit, which now houses the Church of the Holy Trinity of Krstova Gora. A huge number of Christians from around the world flock here every year, according to legend, there is a piece of the cross of Jesus Christ.

The Solenoto Izvorche restaurant is a place where you can relax after a long walk. Lunch here can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors on the cozy, covered terrace. Among the many dishes on the menu, bean soup, vegetable salads, berry pie and yoghurt for dessert are popular.

The nature of Bulgaria is characterized by quite a variety of mountains and rocks, caves and waterfalls. The Chudnite Mostove National Park, located in the karst valley on the Yerkyupria River, also has these beautiful features. These caves are in the form of bridges, there are three such formations in the park, and they are located at a relatively short distance from each other.

Bulgarian villages have their own special charm and attraction, which is not lacking in the small village of Pavelsko. This place is notable for its incredible views of the valleys and mountains stretching to the Rhodope. Moreover, tourists are also interested in the style of local architecture - small neat houses, made in the traditional Bulgarian style, is a very nice picture.

In the evening, when you are tired and want to have a quiet dinner, you will not find a better place than Supa Bar. The name of the place speaks for itself - the main dish on the menu is soup, among many kinds of which we liked the pork broth with potatoes and vegetables. The pasta with chicken, herbs and tomatoes is also worth mentioning.

Today we drove a huge distance, saw many different sights, among which various historical buildings and monuments, as well as numerous natural beauties. Tomorrow we plan to go to Sofia, so we need to sleep and gain strength, the day will be busy, but interesting.
