I have made Tampa, Florida my home since 2001. Moving to Florida also marks the start of my writing career. Over the years my byline has appeared in regional and national outlets, including AAA Going Places, AARP, AFAR, Allrecipes, Condé Nast Traveler, Garden & Gun, Global Traveler, Marriott Bonvoy, Travel + Leisure, and USA Today, among many others. I’m also an active member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors, and the Society of American Travel Writers. You can see more on my personal website, travlingirl.com. I also co-founded FloridaBeyond.com, a blog that aims to take a deep dive into all Florida has to offer, from insiders’ perspectives. From cool hotels and resorts to hidden beaches to well-known spots and only-in-Florida moments, through FloridaBeyond.com we share my Florida expertise with you.
Traveling solo is my jam but I often travel with my husband and two sons. Their needs have shifted my perspective, but not too much. I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area and frequently travel around the United States and Europe (plenty of family there, too). I typically focus my travel experiences around food/restaurants, interesting cultural sites, art and connection with the outdoors. I like to read a book about the place I am visiting while I am there. Countries I have traveled to include: Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Cuba and most Caribbean islands; Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, India; Morocco; Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Belgium, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Britain, Ireland, Scotland. I have lived in Chile, Spain, Switzerland and the United States.
I have been in more than 50 countries. I am a journalist, travel blogger, editor, and social geography. I specialized in travel journalism and wrote for several mass media, online and printed: Traveler, the magazine of National Geographic for Latin America; Magazine Marriott Traveler; Trivago Spain; Scanner Editorial; Todo para viajar; Best Day México, etc. Also, I write in my travel blog (with more than 12 years online) and in 2014 I wrote and self-published my first travel book called “Magic is Travel”. I participate in several blogtrips, including some through Italy, South Africa, Uruguay, Argentina and Portugal. I was a speaker at a TEDx talk in the Argentinian city of Corrientes and at other travelling events in Spanish. I love travel alone and with my family. I think is the best way to learn.
I'm a content creator, documentary filmmaker, podcaster and a traveller. I love exploring new places, meeting people from all cultures and experiencing more of the wonders on this Earth. I've lived in 4 countries, visited over 30 cities and speak 3 languages. During some of my travels, I've created video content for various organisations and NGOs, including a short documentary about an animal rescuer centre in Cuzco, Peru which screened at international film festivals and has won two awards. (https://vimeo.com/235530374) I love capturing moments and telling stories through film that are different and inspiring.
Hi, I'm Elle – a freelance journalist specialising in travel, lifestyle, wellbeing and social change. Born in Cardiff, Wales and based in Provence, France, I write and travel to make sense of the beautiful, changing world around me (while sharing some stories along the way). There are few things I love more than a road trip – accompanied by a peaceful playlist and a warm flask of tea!
I am a history graduate with a passion for travel. I create bespoke self-guided tours for adventurous and curious travelers, delivering a personalised and exciting holiday experience that takes the effort out of trip planning. Through my company, Tailor-Made Itineraries, I also collaborate with leading businesses in the travel industry to design unique tours and travel plans, specialising in European and North American destinations.
I am a lifelong traveler, having grown up taking cross-country trips in my family's RV. My education and work has taken me all around the world, from teaching in Basque Country to writing in Thailand and beyond. Though I am always down to hop on a plane, nothing makes me more excited than packing up the car with my dogs and gear and taking a road trip. My dream is to drive from the United States all the way down to the southern tip of South America.
Adrienne Mahsa Varkiani is a journalist and writer currently based in Washington, D.C. She has lived in four countries, and traveled to many more. In the United States, she regularly goes on road trips on the East Coast. Her work has appeared in Slate, Teen Vogue, Mic, The Counter, Extra Crispy, ThinkProgress, and more.
I'm originally from the UK but have travelled extensively across Europe, South America and North America. I specialise in themed road trips in the UK, France, Spain and the USA.
I've been traveling around Europe since December 2010. Traveling is one of my biggest passions and believes you should try and see everything before you are too old to move. I've lived in Budapest for the best part of seven years and two years living in Prague.
Whenever I travel, I take it slow and look for the places where the locals outnumber the tourists. Usually that means hiring a car, and driving to tiny towns in the middle of nowhere, or beautiful national parks that are just that little bit further out of the city.
An all-round sustainability enthusiast, I try to travel thoughtfully while respecting both environment and local community as much as possible. Years ago I created and wrote for a travel blog as a hobby, then in 2020 I decided to make my passion for travel my job, becoming a certified Travel Designer and tourism planning expert. I have worked with an important DMC in Southeast Asia and now I am a Travel Consultant for an Italian tour operator. I am also currently living in Tenerife to work on a sustainable project here on the island. My travels are a mix of planning and improvisation, I like studying each destination to find the solutions with the best value for money and I follow my instinct in search of typical dishes and authentic traditions of each place I visit.
Our tech creates a direct connection to drivers in their cars. We work with destinations, brands, and the automotive industry to drive engagement, loyalty and monetisation opportunities.
