Bison watching and ice skating

The men's monastery is located on the bank of the Lopasnya River. It was founded in 1515 by the Venerable David Serpukhovsky, it is one of the oldest monasteries in Russia. There are 6 temples of different ages on the territory. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the river valley. The ancient linden grove is one of the local wonders. The first place we will visit is Prioksko-Terrasny Reserve. This is the only reserve in the Moscow region. It was opened in June 1945 and recently celebrated its 70th anniversary. The reserve has a UNESCO certificate and since 2015 has been named after M.A. Zabolotskyi, the founder of the first bison nursery. The most popular ecological route in the reserve is the "Road to the bison". On weekends you can visit the high-altitude ecological trail "Through the foliage". In the warm season the ecological park "Tree House" is opened for visiting. A visit to the reserve is possible only by appointment. Tickets are sold in the administrative building. Excursion on the route "Road to the bison" is carried out only as a part of excursion group. From Monday to Friday groups are formed at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00. On weekends - every hour from 9 am. You can sign up for an individual excursion on site.

Ecopark in a beautiful area of Tula region, where you can have fun. A skating rink is poured into the pond, a sled ride is offered, and there is a slide for tubing. Skis and skates are rented. On a cold winter day it's nice to steam in the bath on birch wood.

An observation deck with a beautiful view of the Upa River and the Museum of Arms. Here you can take spectacular photos. A Reconciliation Bench, Love Tree and Horseshoe of Happiness are installed near the rotunda.

Monument to the famous character N. Leskov - Levsha. First it was installed in 1989 on the territory of Tula Engineering Plant. In 2009 it was moved to the Upa embankment. The lower part of the pedestal is engraved with quotations of Russian writers, including N. Leskov.
