    Roode Steen

The Roode Steen or Cheese Market is a square in the centre of Hoorn, the intersection of six streets and alleys. In the middle of the square stands the statue of Jan Pieterszoon Coen, a VOC governor, made by Ferdinand Leenhoff. As you can see by the name of the square, cheese market is held here during weekends.

    Radboud Castle

    History
Make a stop at the Radboud Castle, locally known as Kasteel Radboud or Kasteel Medemblik. The surrounding area is worth visiting on its own but you can also go inside for a tour.

    Marinemuseum

The Naval Museum is a maritime museum in the North-Holland city of Den Helder. The museum is located at the former naval shipyard Willemsoord and is housed in the Royal Defence Museums Foundation (SKD). The museum consists of a few buildings ashore and a few ships on the quay. In the buildings there are permanent and changing exhibitions, partly about the history of the navy and partly about technical developments.
Especially good for families with kids! There are some interactive things inside.

    Ramschip Schorpioen

The Ramschip Schorpioen is an armoured ship that was built in 1868 in Toulon. Together with the sister ship Buffel, built in Scotland, the Scorpio formed the core of the renewed Royal Netherlands Navy, the Royal Dutch Navy until 1905. Admire the masts of the ship and walk around the area freely to get some appetite for a tasty lunch.

Great views from the open terrace and indoor seating for colder seasons. I recommend trying the fresh mint tea from local farm and the Eton Mess for dessert!

    Klimduin Schoorl

Have you ever been to a city beach? No, I mean THE city beach, literally. There's no water, but lots of sand. Other humans say that its fun climbing up. Can't really say for sure as I don't even walk. But you should try.

    Strand Egmond Aan Zee

More sand! I like sand. It looks similar to grain. This is one of the numerous beaches on the western shore. Come here to relax and enjoy the sunset, or just stare in the distance of the sea.

    Steakhouse Bij de Buurvrouw

Before returning to Amsterdam, stop at this steakhouse. Locals say that here you can find one of the best steaks in the Netherlands.
By the way, do you know if there are any steaks made of grain? I'd love to try that.
Hope you will enjoy it and the itinerary I've prepared for you.
