Nabokov's Work and the Historical Heritage of Pskov

On your way to Pskov, have a look at the Rozhdestvenno estate. The history of this place is inextricably linked to the fate of Vladimir Nabokov. The owner of the estate was the writer's uncle, and young Vladimir often spent his summer vacations here.
The manor is open from Wednesday to Sunday.

On the other hand, the estate "Zapolje" is not in as good a condition as "Rozhdestvenno". This place will appeal more to fans of ruins, abandoned buildings and beautiful landscapes.

The Pskov Krom, or, as it is more usual to say, the Kremlin, is a real concentration of historical sights.
You can limit yourself to a walk around the territory and a tour of the ancient churches and boyar chambers. Or you may explore archeological excavations of the ancient settlement, visit the only administrative building, remained from the Middle Ages, Prikaznye Palaty, climb the observation deck of Vlasyevskaya Tower, and also learn to fire an arrow or even throw an axe!
You can visit the Kremlin any day of the week. Prikaznye Chambers are open from Tuesday to Sunday. The observation deck of the Vlasyev Tower is open from Wednesday to Sunday, tickets are sold until 5:30 pm.

Another well-preserved tower of the Pskov Kremlin is Ploskaya. You must have seen it on postcards and illustrations with views of Pskov. This construction has become a kind of a visiting card of the city.
