    Al Seef Street

    Al Seef is a great introduction to old Dubai. It is a historical area now but in the 1900s, it was Dubai's trading hub, when the pearl diving industry was getting developed and was the main commercial activity in the region. It stretches along the Dubai Creek for 1,8 kilometers. It is a nice walk with old looking buildings, shops and cafes with a nice view on the river.

    Saruq Al-Hadid Archaeological Museum

    The Saruq Al-Hadid archeological museum exhibits the finds of the Saruq Al-Hadid archeological site which means the way of Iron. It is a remote desert site that was the center of metal working about 3000 years ago. You will learn about the skills of the people that worked in the iron age factory. The museum is housed in a historical building in a nice area where you can walk around and observe the other buildings of this Shindagha Heritage district.

    Dubai Frame

    Dubai Frame is located right between Old Dubai and New Dubai. It is very interesting to go up there inside the transparent frame as you can observe Old Dubai on one side with Sharjah in the background and New Dubai with view of the Downtown skyscrapers with Burj Khalifa on the other side. It is the tallest monument in a shape of a frame in the World. It is located in Jabeer Park, which is a nice place to stroll around before or after going up in the frame.

    Etihad Museum

    The Etihad Museum is a very interesting building for its futuristic architecture and pretty impressive from the outside already. Etihad means Union in Arabic and the museum exhibit is about the Union of the United Arab Emirates. It is very interesting to visit to understand the history of the country that was founded about 50 years ago. You will learn about how the rulers of the Seven Emirates united to make only one country. The museography is very modern and there are some interesting videos.

    J1 Beach

    La Mer is a new district by the sea. It is a very nice place to go to enjoy the beach and have a swim in the sea. You can even see the Burj Khalifa in the background on the beach. It is also a great place to walk around as it is pedestrian and there are a lot of nice street art paintings around. Take your time and enjoy this very nice atmosphere.

    Burj Khalifa

    The Burj Khalifa is the most famous site of Dubai. It is the highest building in the World with 828 meters high. You have several options to visit it. Of course, you should admire it from the bottom by day and by night. If you want to go up the viewing deck, you have to go inside the Dubai Mall which is an interesting place to visit as well with its waterfalls, ice rink, gigantic aquarium and numerous shops and restaurants.
    You have to take a ticket for "Burj Khalifa, At the Top" and you will go up the 124th and 125th floor to get amazing views at 360 degrees. You can go before sunset so you can enjoy daytime, sunset and night time from up there. You will also learn about the construction of the tower.

    Logma

    Have dinner at this authentical Emirati restaurant. You will eat great local food. There is a terrace with a great view on the Dubai fountains. So it is a perfect way to end the day and enjoy this free show that happens every night, every 30 minutes, when it gets dark.
