Old Ladoga. The first capital of Northern Russia. Fortress on the bank of the Volkhov River, to which leads an overgrown and crumbling downhill. In one of the towers of the fortress is now a two-story museum. Interesting exposition and layout of the room plunges you into the Middle Ages.

The village of Staraya Sloboda. Amusing flowerbeds between the alleys and two-story houses for the servants of the monastery. The bell tower of the Transfiguration Cathedral rises.
