    The spectacular nature of the castle lies in its location, on a large overhanging rock on one of the sides of the village.
    The fortress is accessed from the centre of town and inside you can see the parade ground, the walls and the keep, where there is currently a small museum. It also has a viewpoint overlooking the mountains.
    The castle can be visited with a guided tour on Saturdays at 12:00 and 16:30 and Sundays at 12:00. From Tuesday to Friday, it is necessary to call previously to the telephone 661379513 or by mail to turismo@puertomingalvo.com to coordinate the schedule of the visit.
    It is also possible to visit on Saturdays, holidays and long weekends from 11:00 - 14:00, 16:00 - 19:00 and Sundays 11:00 - 14:00.
    The car can be parked in the centre of the village. From there it is only a five-minute walk to the castle.
