Kris Eggle Visitor Center
AZ 85 cuts right through Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. This secluded gem is well worth a stop when heading down to Mexico. Gain some information at the Visitor Center before hitting one of the trails nearby. A ranger favorite is the Desert View Trail, an easy 1.2-mile loop with fantastic vistas of the surrounding area.
Visitor Center is open from 9am-4pm, and trails are open until dark. Find more information on road closures and the park here.

Start your visit to Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point) right at the center of the town's coast. This beachfront plaza is a great place to get your bearings from. There is frequently a small market with souvenirs and snacks to purchase, and there are great opportunities to snap photos next to the "Peñasco" sign or shrimp fisherman statue.
