Charming Villages in the Basque Country
The first day combines the Spanish Basque Country with the French. The coastline with cliffs invites you to the first two stops between Bilbao and San Sebastián.
Then you visit the beautiful town of Hondarribia on the mouth of the river Bidasoa in the Bay of Biscay, which still preserves the gates to the walled town centre and the tradition of the colourfully painted houses.

Welcome to one of the most elegant cities in France. Biarritz was born as a fishing village, but later became a symbol of social status. Its art deco buildings blend with the viewpoints, wide beaches and cliffs, making it one of the most visited destinations in the French Basque Country.

The Medieval City at the Confluence of the Nive and Adur Rivers
An ancient walled city, the last day of the route is devoted entirely to discovering Bayonne. Strolling through the narrow streets of the historic centre and crossing the bridges over the river Nive for panoramic views are two of the main attractions.
There are several well-preserved sites from medieval times, such as the cathedral and the old castle. You can also take a short break in nature, visiting the botanical garden.
