Trip to Ruskeala Mountain Park

Ruskeala Mountain Park is a trademark of Karelia, and thousands of tourists come to the republic for it. No wonder, as it is an insanely beautiful place. Marble canyon, underground lakes, pine forests, unusual rocks, quarries - all this creates a fabulous atmosphere.
There are several tours of the most interesting sights in the area: "Marble Canyon", "The Road of Mountain Masters", "Underground Ruskeala". For lovers of everything exotic there is a special entertainment: rope town "Kubik", bungee jumping, quad bikes, water rides.

We suggest stopping by Ruskolka Café for lunch and some relaxation. The cafe offers a variety of dishes for a full lunch. Indulge yourself with fish on coals or Karelian fish soup.

On the way to Priozersk turn to Lahdenpohja, here you will find the largest Lutheran church in Karelia of the mid XIX century, which was built in the shape of a cross. Unfortunately, in 1977 the church was badly damaged in a fire.
Now there is an open-air museum "City of Angels", where you can see wooden sculptures made by the best masters of Russia and Europe.
The best time to visit the museum is on Saturdays and Sundays, when the museum is open until 19:30. On weekdays, you can visit from 10:00 to 17:00.

To be in Karelia and not visit waterfalls is unforgivable. Stop at the Valley of Waterfalls and walk along the eco-routes along the river. At the entrance, reindeer will be waiting for you and you can feed them with reindeer moss.

For dinner drop in at one of the best restaurants in town. The menu has a large selection of Russian cuisine. In addition to tasty food you will get excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere.
