- Hike and explore the various mountain ranges of Southern Arizona.
- Eat at one of the oldest restaurants in the country.
- Imbibe in southern Arizona's premier viticulture area.
A long weekend gives you just enough time to take in all Tucson, Arizona, and its surrounding area has to offer. Through visiting Mount Lemmon and other fantastic natural areas like Saguaro National Park, you will experience everything from cacti to pine trees and all the flora and fauna in between. Speaking of flora: do not miss Sonoita and Elgin, home to a gorgeous winemaking area. Underrated for its outstanding food and lodging, Tucson will have you begging for just one more bite. Not to worry: Arizona's second-biggest city is just a hop skip and jump down I-17.
Make sure to pack your sunscreen; although the increased elevation cools Tucson down a bit, the sunshine is just as intense as it is in Phoenix, Arizona.
