From Aarhus to Odden by Ferry

Dome of Visions is one of the united city life houses in Aarhus. The place is a public space to unify people with a focus on co-creation, sustainability, and community. Sometimes there are events going on, or exhibitions so make sure to check out this creative space.

Have a mid-morning coffee break and try some local specialty coffee. Street Coffee is one of the hippest places in town, serving up some interesting blends. They have multiple locations across this city, but this is the cutest.

The Old Town Museum on Aarhus is a recreation of 18th through 20th century Danish urban areas. You can wander through and see what life would have looked like over 200 years ago in Denmark.

Once you have finished in the museum, head to Cross Café for lunch. There is optional seating outside, so on a nice day why not enjoy watching the world go by over lunch. Cross Café is known for its generous portion sizes and good hearty cuisine.

Take the ferry from Aarhus to Odden. The ferries run every hour starting at 05:45 up until 17:45. After this the last service is at 20:25. The journey is around 1 hour 20 depending on the weather. So sit back, relax and enjoy the smooth crossing.

After the ferry crossing take one last sandy beach stroll before heading back to Copenhagen.
