This estate belonged to A. A. Ganshin - one of the representatives of the famous merchant family. Here you will learn more about this merchant family and hobbies of the owners, walk along the alleys of the old park, stand under an oak tree, which is more than 200 years old.
And if the weather allows, you can play croquet in the museum.

Let's visit the Michael Archangel Monastery. It was founded back in XIII century. However, only buildings of XVII-XVIII centuries have survived to our days.
The main sights of the monastery are the Cathedral of the Archangel Michael and the Archimandrite's Corps with the exposition devoted to the hero of the Patriotic War of 1812, Prince Bagration. It was in this place that the estate of Princes Golitsyn - relatives of Prince Bagration - was located, and here he was brought to the wounded Borodin. In the museum you can even see the carriage on which he was taken.

The monastery was founded in 1200 by Vladimir Prince Vsevolod the Big Nest at the insistence of his wife, Princess Maria Shvarnovna, daughter of the Czech prince Shvarna.
In 1206, the princess even took a vow at this monastery, and lived there until her death. Therefore the monastery became a patrimonial burial vault of princesses and princesses of the Vladimir Grand-Ducal House.

Dormition Cathedral was founded in 1158 and had very lush decoration. Now inside the temple there are fragments of unique frescoes of the XII century, as well as paintings of famous icon painters Andrei Rublev and Daniel the Black.

Dmitrievsky Cathedral was built by Vsevolod the Big Nest in 1190s, it was consecrated in honor of Great Martyr Demetrius of Solunsk, The cathedral is famous for its white stone carving.
Please note that the cathedral is closed on Tuesdays and 21.10, 18.11, 23.12, 20.01, 17.02, 24.03, 21.04.

The Golden Gate was built by order of Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky, similar to the gate in Kiev.
It was through this gate that princes and guests of honor entered the city after their glorious victories. According to a legend, in 1767 the carriage of Empress Catherine II got stuck in a narrow arch.
Now there is a military-historical exposition at the gate.
