Take a drive north of Kansas City and in no time at all you're out of the urban concrete and well into the beautiful countryside.
Before touring a historical museum and learning about this part of Missouri, you'll start your day off with an invigorating walk along the Riverfront of the Missouri River.
Later, you'll visit the hidden gems of a local distillery and sample some wine inside a converted church before driving into Kansas where you'll stay the night in lively Lawrence.

Today is jam-packed with so many wonderful places to see and explore.
You'll start the day in Lawrence, Kansas where you'll learn about natural history at the KU Natural History Museum followed by a bit of culture at the Spencer Museum of Art.
After a delicious lunch at a brewhouse, you'll head out in the countryside to the Crooked Post Winery where you'll delight in wine tasting as you enjoy the gardens and tasty snacks.
The night will end in Topeka, the state capitol of Kansas.

Historical Kansas with a Glimpse of the Past
It's another exciting day learning about the history of Kansas.
You'll start the day with a visit to the State Capitol and later learn about the segregation and education at the Brown vs. The Board of Education National Historic Site.
Later, things will speed up with a tour of the Evel Knievel Motorcycle Museum!
The day will wind down at the Old Prairie Town Historic Site and Botanical Garden before heading back to Kansas City.
After breakfast this morning (the front desk can point you in the direction of the best pancake house in town if you're up for it), keep your car at the hotel and walk to the nearby Kansas State Capitol Visitor Center. Afterwards, walk back to the hotel and collect your car to drive to your next destination.
