Historical Kansas with a Glimpse of the Past
It's another exciting day learning about the history of Kansas.
You'll start the day with a visit to the State Capitol and later learn about the segregation and education at the Brown vs. The Board of Education National Historic Site.
Later, things will speed up with a tour of the Evel Knievel Motorcycle Museum! The day will wind down at the Old Prairie Town Historic Site and Botanical Garden before heading back to Kansas City.
After breakfast this morning (the front desk can point you in the direction of the best pancake house in town if you're up for it), keep your car at the hotel and walk to the nearby Kansas State Capitol Visitor Center. Afterwards, walk back to the hotel and collect your car to drive to your next destination.
