N.K. Roerich Manor Museum and Memorial House-Museum of Isaac Schwartz

The Centre of Musical Antiquities is working on the restoration of musical instruments of X-XV centuries, their shape, appearance and sound.
The museum was founded by Vladimir Ivanovich Povetkin, an artist-restorer and an honorary citizen of Veliky Novgorod. The basis of the museum is his collection and the unique program developed by him for the identification and reconstruction of legendary psaltery, hooters, sopels and daggers.

Izyvary is an estate of N.K.Roerich's parents, which they owned for about 30 years - from 1872 till 1900.
The Russian artist spent his childhood and youth here. The inner connection of Nikolay Konstantinovich with Izyvara did not interrupt until the end of his life. This is evidenced by the pages of the artist's diary, articles, letters.
Mode of work: Monday, Tuesday - day off; Wednesday - Sunday from 10:30 to 16:30.
