The Kapuzinerberg hill is 640 metres above sea level on the banks of the Salzach River.
In addition to the Capuchin Monastery, which is located on this mountain, you can see a semi-destroyed wall that leads to the fortress with the Francis Schloss Bridge.
Capucinerberg can be reached by stairs and serpentine.
The mountain offers beautiful views of the historic part of Salzburg and the river.

The heart of ancient Salzburg, the majestic castle of Hohensalzburg, gracefully towering over the city.
The castle's history goes back more than 900 years, but even during this period the castle's appearance has not changed much and has been perfectly preserved.
Various exhibitions of concerts are regularly held here.
The castle can be reached by cable car.
In the museum of the fortress there are excursions telling about the daily life of the residents and about the milestones in the history of the castle. There's a wide collection of historical weapons, antique guns.

National dishes, favourite with visitors:
1) Grostle. Cooked from potatoes fried on butter with beef, smoked pork brisket, tomatoes, herbs and spices. Grostle is often served with frosting. 2) Vienna pork schnitzel; 3) Fruit vodka from a mixture of different fruits and chimberhayste - raspberry vodka; 4) Almdoodler - Austrian spicy herbs lemonade.
The restaurant works from 11 to 22.

Surrounded by elegant medieval buildings, the square is a monument to Mozart.
In front of the monument on the bridge slab, on which it is written that Salzburg is included in the list of the World Cultural Heritage of mankind.
The bronze monument to Mozart was made by the Munich sculptor Ludwig von Schwantaler.
In 1842, it was inaugurated in the presence of two sons of Mozart.
