You will have a quick stop in Drammen first, where you will drive the 7 loops of the Spiraltroll tunnel up to the city's spectacular viewpoint (Don't forget to look out for the local Troll in the tunnel!)
For the rest of the road trip, you will be all Viking'ed out! Expect ancient Viking graves, Viking museums, and Viking activities. This is a fun road trip for the whole family!

Get ready for an action-filled day starting off with the 7 loops of the Spiral Tunnel in Drammen where you must look for the city's iconic Spiral Troll. Next, you will explore some of the top attractions along the Viking Trail, including Midgard Vikingsenter where you will learn everything about the Vikings. If you travel in the summer, you might witness Viking plays and try out fun Viking activities like shooting with a bow and arrow. The rest of the day, you will see ancient Viking burial mounds and even see the replica of one of the greatest ships found in the graves.

From Viking Mounds to Scenic Fjord Drives
Start the second day of your road trip with the famous Gokstad Mound, then experience an Iron age cemetery, before heading to what was Norway's oldest city, dating back to the year 800!
Turning your nose back towards Oslo again, you will drive along the scenic fjord, take relaxing nature stops to soak in the best of the fjord, and round it off by taking Norway's shortest ferry crossing from Svelvik to Verket.
