    Town Bridge and Lock-up

The Town Bridge is probably the most emblematic landmark in Bradford-on-Avon, and just like much of the town, is dripping in history. Although it is thought to date back to the 14th century, the current version was constructed sometime during the 17th century. The little building you can see on the bridge used to be the town 'lock-up' - a kind of village prison that was used to detain unlawful residents for the night.

    Tithe Barn

This medieval barn was built in the 14th-century as part of the surrounding Barton Grange farm. It is one of the best-preserved barns from that era and gives us amazing insights into the architectural and agricultural practices of medieval times.
