Enjoying a South West Delicacy
The first day of your trip takes you through two of the most popular cider farms in the region. You can learn about the South West art of cidermaking and even have a little taste yourself. You'll then head deeper into the South West to find a traditional pub-restaurant to round off the day.

Thatchers Cider
Our first stop is Myrtle Farm: home to one of the most popular cider brands in the country. Here you'll get the chance to learn more about how Thatcher's craft their nationally-loved ciders from their Myrtle Farm base. You'll also be able to sample a few of their limited edition ciders for yourself.
Their tours start at 11am and 2pm and last approximately 2 hours. Note that the tours are only available from Wednesday to Saturday.
Make sure you book in advance, because the tours tend to sell out.

Rich's Cider Farm
Rich's Cider is a much more local cider brand than Thatcher's, and their headquarters are located right beside The Cider Press. There are no guided tours here, but if you're lucky you might catch them pressing apples in the autumn! Feel free to explore their beautiful farm, which has an on-site restaurant, shop and children's play area.
