Travel Itinerary and Road Trip Route

Day 1: The first day of our journey begins in Buffalo

Welcome to Buffalo is a pretty big city in New York City. It is in close proximity to Canada, so we decided to start our journey from here.

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

In this place you can try the delicious ribs! Very fast service and friendly staff made us happy. It's pretty noisy and crowded, but we wouldn't call it a minus.

Day 2: We're exploring the Buffalo area

This is our first full day in town. Today we're going to explore the sights and parks of Buffalo.

Amy's Place

You have to start the day with a big breakfast to get enough energy for everything. Our choice is based on several of our criteria: comfortable breakfast hours, good ratings and reviews, and a homely environment. Our family likes to have breakfast in more "home" places. There are also vegetarian dishes in this place. However, there are no baby chairs there, so if you are going to travel with your baby, there may be difficulties.

Delaware Park

What better way to start your day with a family walk in the park? It's so beautiful when there's a little free time you can spend with your family. We're all in a constant state of routine. Work, school, homework, and much, much more. Family travel is one of the great opportunities to get close to your family, to settle differences and to come to peace and harmony in the family.

The Buffalo History Museum

Our family loves visiting various museums in new cities to learn more about the history of this or that place. Personally, I think it's much more interesting for me to go to historical places myself than to take sightseeing tours and listen to a guide. Okay, I'm a little distracted from our museum. What can I say about him? The museum has a very cool souvenir shop if you want to buy something to remember. In general, the exposition is very interesting and diverse, so do not describe at once what you can see in the museum. (By the way, I would like to note that if you want to visit this museum on the third Friday of the month, the entrance will be free.) The building isn't very big, but you'll definitely have to like the exhibits!

Dick & Jenny's

The range of prices in this place is so pleasing to the eye and pocket. It's very inexpensive, but it's delicious. The menu's pretty diverse, though. I would also like to note that the menu has dishes for vegetarians, which is also an important factor for some people. There are also high chairs in the institution, so if you are going to travel with young children, you can safely go to this institution. Still in institution quietly enough and live music plays, but I would advise you to call there and just in case to specify presence of free tables that there were no unpleasant situations.

Observation Deck

It's an extraordinary view. Emotions can not be described, we can only say that you should look at it with your own eyes! The waterfall is magnificent! The waterfall itself is shocking in its size, it is huge and has extraordinary power, power and grandeur!

Day 3: The third day of the journey or the day of nature

So, we decided to enjoy the most beautiful scenery and spend time outdoors. We all know that there is nothing more irreplaceable than oxygen for the human body. We often send our children for walks, but with age we forget about this useful habit. We're gonna fix this a little bit today!

Paris Crepes Cafe

We start our day with a French-style breakfast. The prices are very nice, low. As far as the interior is concerned, when we visited this place we really had the feeling that we were in some province in France. Anyway, the place is very atmospheric. There are also vegetarian dishes on the menu. For parents with young children, the institution has provided for the presence of high chairs for feeding. It is not noisy, so you can enjoy a quiet breakfast.

Whirlpool Rapids

By chance, we discovered an extraordinary place. At first we were here, and only then did we know that it was a lookout area. So, where to start. You can see a stunning view, and if you have the time and desire, there is a whirpool aero car on the hillside.

Lakeside Park Carousel

To entertain the kids, we went to this park. Very beautiful merry-go-round, tidy, beautiful beach, where you can just stay and sit for a while. There is a wonderful playground and even picnic tables nearby.

Rise Above Restaurant & Bakery

It's a very nice place to eat healthily. In the menu there are dishes for vegetarians, children's menu. As well as highchairs for children's feeding. The staff at the facility is very nice. Waiters are very polite and attentive.

Bayfront Park

We got to a wonderful park. The territory is large enough, you can ride on rollers or bicycles, and just walk. There's plenty of parking space, so you can easily park. Everything is very neat, very well-groomed lawns. On the territory of the park you can find a lot of kiosks with food, selling hot dogs, cotton candy and so on.

Day 4: We're staying in Hamilton

I don't know if you know, but Hamilton is a port city. It is a very harmonious place, combining beautiful nature and a noisy city. This city is also known to us as the waterfall capital of our planet.

West End Diner

Great inexpensive place, with very tasty breakfast. As usual, I will tell you that there are high chairs in the institution for feeding your children, as well as dishes for vegetarians, if you need them. This is the kind of schedule that works for a place like this: Monday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m; Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m; on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Royal Botanical Gardens

Very nice botanical garden. Everything is madly competent and tasteful. The whole area is very well-groomed, is constantly under the supervision of garden workers, and if you are lucky, you can see and feed the squirrel. The park also smells like all these flowering plants.

Jack Darling Memorial Park

Another picturesque park near Lake Ontario. While walking through this park you will enjoy the unusually fresh air, almost a breeze. Nowadays, it's rare to feel the real fresh air in the city. The park has barbecue areas and playgrounds.

Max Resto Lounge

It's a beautiful place that combines different kitchens. The menu includes a lot of dishes for vegetarians, as well as high chairs for children, so everything is comfortable. Very nice interior, beautiful serving of dishes, cooked in the restaurant is very tasty, and the portions are quite large. The staff works fast, so no one will keep you waiting. By the way, there is a great variety of wines in this institution, I advise you to try them.

Day 5: We're continuing our journey along the coast

Our last point was Hamilton. Wonderful city, very beautiful and friendly. Today we're moving on. We have a lot of different trips planned for today and all of them will be outdoors.

Pane Fresco - Artisan Bakery & Cafe

Today we chose a place with a great rating and reviews. I'd like to warn you right away that there are no high chairs in this place. So, the menu, though small, consists of only a few positions, they cook these dishes extremely tasty. The most important thing is that everything is very fresh.

Mountsberg Conservation

The Mountsberg Conservation Area is a wonderful place for children to go. It's gonna be fun for everyone, though! The area is very well-groomed and large. There is a farm with various animals and wild birds on the territory. You can also walk to the shore by the lake and if you want to organize a picnic or just enjoy the beautiful views.

You'll definitely have an appetite in this place. The staff is very attentive to their guests, all working quickly and smoothly. The dishes were delicious and the portions were large enough. There are also dishes for vegetarians, and of course chairs for small children. Anyway, you won't be disappointed!

Dingle Park

After a hearty lunch, we decided to go out again. Since we travel along the coast, it would be wrong not to walk in the parks by the water. The territory is small, but here it is very pleasant to be alone with yourself, in this park you can really enjoy the silence and plunge into a calm, slightly sleepy atmosphere.

The Danish Pastry House

Although it's not good for the figure, we decided to stop by and buy ourselves some delicious baked goods before bedtime. It's a great place, the prices are very low, and the baked goods were delicious.

Day 6: We've been with you more than halfway through.

Today is the sixth day of our incredibly colourful journey along the Canadian coast to Toronto. As today Monday and most of the cultural institutions are closed, we have postponed museum trips for tomorrow, and today we decided to spend another day outdoors for walks.

J.A.C.'s Bistro

Today our day began with a full, full breakfast at Jac's Bistro. This institution offers to taste dishes of Italian and European cuisine. It's a pretty famous place in Oakville. From Monday to Friday the institution works from eleven in the morning to ten in the evening, on Saturday from four in the evening to ten in the evening. The menu is sure to offer vegetarian dishes, but there is a small minus. The institution does not have high chairs for small children, so you may encounter some inconvenience when visiting.

Mississauga Celebration Square

We've heard of this square before, so we decided to get here and take a little walk in the middle.

Chinguacousy Park

Our next point was the park on the hill. There are many different attractions on the territory, such as an ice rink, a stadium, in winter there is a ski slope. We had a great time.

Woody's Burgers bar and grill

After starving, our family made a collective decision that everyone wants fast food and burgers. It's an interesting place, I'm most tempted by the fact that you can see how your food is prepared, because the workers work behind a glass wall. In my opinion, all the food was fresh. Burgers in general are also quite edible. We were not disappointed, the service works quickly and efficiently.

Humber River Footbridge

I've bumped into a lot of pictures on the Internet on this bridge. It's a very picturesque place, so we couldn't help but go there. And we wanted to take some pretty pictures, too.

Jamie Bell Adventure Playground

Then, exclusively for the kids, we went to the playground. This site is located in the high park, so as soon as we got bored, we went to explore the park. I would like to note that the park has a zoo, various sports fields and even coffee shops. It's an interesting place to spend hours in.

Day 7: Traveling through museums

For a small variety of our trip we decided to learn a little bit new in history and visit various museums. Of course, we tried to choose museums in such a way that children wouldn't be bored, but all adults understand that it is really interesting to go to a museum already when you have grown up and realize the importance and greatness of history.

Sunset Grill

We're starting our day at Sunset Grill. We decided to stop at this institution because of good reviews, high rating and convenient schedule. I'll make you happy, this place has high chairs for children and even dishes for vegetarians. Actually, all the food looks delicious. It's a rare place where I wanted to try everything at once. I might even say that this is the best breakfast place I've ever been to so far.

Art Gallery of Ontario

The first place to visit is at the Ontario Art Gallery. The only day off is Monday. On Wednesdays and Fridays, the gallery is open until 9 p.m. Very interesting place, very informative exhibits. Actually, the art gallery also has a very nice interior.

Royal Ontario Museum

It's an extraordinary museum! What a great variety of exhibits are presented there! The size of the building is ideal, the museum is not too big, but not small. There'll be plenty of time to look at everything. The architecture of the building itself is striking, you can take very colorful pictures.

The Tilted Dog Pub & Kitchen

A little hungry, we went to look for a place to eat and to make sure that this place tastes good to every member of the family. The facility has dishes for vegetarians, special children's menu and everything for a comfortable stay. There's also live music playing in this place, and we loved it. It's pretty noisy and crowded in the evenings, though.

CN Tower

Afterwards we went for a walk at the famous tower, a symbol of the city, to take memorable pictures, and just a little walk after a meal.

City Of Toronto Sign

And another place we couldn't avoid was this attraction. Many people have heard about these letters, you can see thousands of photos from here on the Internet. As a matter of fact, we decided not to be the exception. How can you go to Toronto without taking a picture of yourself with this inscription?

Day 8: Saying goodbye to the wonderful place

Our trip has come to an end. How much new you can actually learn and see in just one week. Well, until we meet again and travel again!

Over Easy

Good morning, everyone, and have a good day! I'll never understand people who say morning isn't good. Okay, I'm not gonna backtrack on the case. Over Easy is a typical Canadian breakfast cafe with a cosy interior. The facility has high chairs for feeding, and the menu has dishes for vegetarians. As for the work of the staff, it all depends solely on the number of people in the hall, we were lucky and we were served very quickly, the food was delicious, and the receipt was very loyal. We were happy.
