A small and cozy museum, why not pay attention to it? It was opened in 1969 in the house of Heinrich Osipovich Graftio, author of the project and chief engineer of Volkhov hydroelectric power plant.

The Maryino estate is a family nest of the counts Stroganov and Golitsyn princes, and one of the most lush palace and park ensembles of the XIX century.
Here you can stroll in the park, which was restored by watercolors and drawings of the first half of the XIX century. There is also a stables, where you can take a horse for a walk around the area. On the territory of the estate there are also other interesting entertainments: rental of historical costumes, boat rides on the Tosne River, skiing, cycling and much more.

A place with strong energy and a complicated history. Once upon a time, instead of several wooden churches, there was a stone Tikhvin church in this area. However, with the advent of new power, the church was destroyed. The last services in the stone Tikhvin church were in 1938: the last abbot was arrested and shot in Levashovskaya heath near St. Petersburg.
