    • Explore the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau that inspired Walt Disney.
    • Stroll around charming villages surrounded by the mountains of the Bavarian Alps, such as Fussen and Oberammergau.
    • Visit churches with typical architecture, frescoes and beautiful scenery, one of which is a World Heritage Site.
This route includes CCS charging stations.
Ideal to surprise your loved one, but also to do with children, this route runs through the Bavarian Alps with landscapes that appear to be taken from a fairy tale book.
Medieval castles in the middle of mountains and surrounded by lush forests. Small villages with their historic center that preserves the traditional magic of German architecture. Churches with amazing interior paintings. These are some of the surprises that will make the visitor fall in love at every corner.
Along the way, these villages of low buildings blend in perfectly with the natural environment that surrounds them, among the different shades of the forest trees that climb the mountain. There will even be time to visit the village of the "painted houses".

Discovering the Beauty of Landsberg and Fussen

The first stop on the route is Landsberg. On the banks of the river Lech, the historic center is a real postcard, especially its market square surrounded by colorful buildings and part of the old city wall. The route continues south, where the mountains of the Bavarian Alps loom over the town. Before reaching Fussen, the road runs along the Forggensee lake. The rest of the day should be spent exploring Fussen's architectural heritage and wandering through the streets of the city center.

Enchanting Castles and Villages Surrounded by the Alps

If the first day was already a surprise, the second day you will fall in love with it. You start with the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. The story goes that Walt Disney was inspired by the way these castles were built to design the iconic Disney Park. After a walk through the forest to reach the castle's viewpoints, the trail continues to two picture-perfect churches. The church of Wies has earned its declaration as a World Heritage Site. Finally, we visit the village of Oberammergau, one of the most beautiful villages in the Bavarian Alps, with its houses with wooden balconies, many of which are completely painted with murals.
