I have to say it: this is one of my favorites routes in Switzerland. It has history, from Romans to medieval village and castles, gorgeous food and excellent wines and the best views over the Alps. Life in the Leman Lake evolves in history from the fishermen passed to the luxury and high quality of life that you will discover in our days. And that mix is something you can experience and enjoy when you travel around the lake.

Medieval Castle And the Village: The French Part
One of the most beautiful castles in Switzerland: Chillon castle, is part of your trip today. You will cross the border of France and you will be driving at the foot of the Alps. The coquette town of Evian, famous for the water, will be another interesting visit today. And you will finish your day in the lovely and traditional medieval village of Yvoire.
