Another square in the city center that is a must-see. The attention of tourists is immediately attracted by the unusual metal figures of animals, made in the steampunk style.

Freedom Square is a real epicenter of social life in Yerevan. Here you can find monuments dedicated to important historical figures of Armenia and original sculptures - the children of modern creators, and temporary art objects, with which all tourists rush to be photographed.
In the middle of the square is the Swan Lake, which in winter turns into a city skating rink.

At the foot of the famous Cascade complex is a nice cafe, which is great for a short snack, and for a full lunch.

It also regularly holds temporary exhibitions and organizes meetings with internationally renowned figures of culture and art.

The central attraction of Yerevan is the cascade, the construction of which began in the 1970s. Officially, it is still considered unfinished. By and large, it is such a giant pompous staircase with artificial waterfalls-fountains. The cascade connects the city center, which lies in the lowlands, and the residential areas up the slope. Today it is a favorite place of citizens and tourists.
The square in front of the cascade is filled with modern sculptures. There's a lot to see here: elephant hares, acrobat hares, and who knows what else. You can find, for example, several ironic works by the famous Colombian sculptor Fernando Botero. In addition to original works, there are also copies of famous sculptures - such as Robert Indiana's famous New York "Love.

Cascade Royal Restaurant is not only delicious food, fragrant wines and excellent service, but also a great vantage point from which you can see the entire city.
You can sit indoors and enjoy the wonderful view through the panoramic windows or dine on the outdoor terrace. The restaurant has several binoculars available free of charge so that visitors can have a detailed view of the city's architecture.
