Lillehammer is a town internationally famous as the host of the 1994 Winter Olympic Games It's become a tourist hotspot since then.
You'll start where you parked your car and follow the signage to start to walk the trail.
The easy trail climbs some 200 metres in altitude along waterfalls and rapids and leads you across a spectacular stone bridge, Collet's bru, named after the painter Fredrik Collet. Mesna cultural trail comes to an end on the northern side of the Mesna river, above Svarga (home of the clairvoyant Marcello Haugen).
