Korela Fortress (Крепость Корела)

History Museums

The first city we'll go to is Priozersk. Here we will also visit the Corela Fortress, the main attraction of the city. It is here that you can see the places from the shooting of the film "Brother" and the music video of the band Nautilus Pompilius for the song "Wings".

Сквер Калевала

Parks

Then we go to the small town of Lahdenpohja. Here in the center of the city there is a small, cozy square, where you can walk. And very close to it there is the AALTO distillery (address: 69, Sovetskaya St., Lahdenpohja). There you can watch the whole process of liqueur preparation and try the best of them. Of course, you can buy the liqueurs as a gift or at home.

Relax Cafe

Cafés

Moving to the town of Sortavala. Here I suggest to have lunch in a simple but cozy cafe, before getting acquainted with the city.

Горный парк «Рускеала»

National Parks

We're going out of town. We're waiting for a fascinating walk in the Ruskeala Mountain Park. Before getting to the park itself, it's better to ask for a guide at the entrance, or get acquainted with the park map in advance. Here you can see amazing waterfalls and rocks. It is interesting to come here both in winter and summer.

Eastern European Restaurants

It was a busy walk, so we're going back to town for dinner. The food at the café is simple, but delicious. In general, all northern peoples cook quite simply, and you will have a chance to try some traditional dishes.
