High Street on Market

American Restaurants

High Street on Market is a very cozy bistro with delicious dishes and unusual serving - some dishes are served on wooden boards. You can have breakfast in a cozy room or outdoor.

Adventure Aquarium

Explore the underwater world In the Philadelphia Aquarium, go through the tunnel with sharks swimming over your head, watch penguins and fur seals. Children particularly like a giant aquarium with hippos - it is so amazing to watch these massive and seemingly awkward creatures moving gracefully in the water.

Bains Deli

Sandwich Places

There is a cafeteria in the Philadelphia Aquarium, and if there are no queues, you can have lunch without leaving the building. Or choose one of the nearby restaurants, for example, Bains Deli. The restaurant’s menu is fairly simple, but there is everything for a full meal, from snacks to soups. Home-cooked dishes suit all tastes and are served quickly.

Wiggins Waterfront Park

Enjoy the quiet walk along the city embankment. It offers a beautiful panoramic view of the skyscrapers on the opposite bank and the legendary USS New Jersey.

Philadelphia Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion

In the pavilions of the Philadelphia insectarium, one can explore many species of insects and arachnids in terrariums or natural habitats. Here are rare tropical plants, and hundreds of unusual butterflies from different parts of the world flying between them.

Pennypack Park

Pennypaсk picturesque part of nature is twenty minutes to drive far from the city center. Many historical buildings have been preserved on the territory, for example, the stone bridge is one of the oldest in the USA, and the building of the Baptist church was built in the late seventeenth century. To date, the park is inhabited by many species of mammals: deer, rabbits, foxes, beavers and muskrats, more than 150 species of birds, both aquatic and altricial ones. The park is a perfect place to explore the fauna of Pennsylvania.

Barbuzzo Mediterranean Kitchen & Bar

Mediterranean Restaurants

Spend your evening in Barbuzzo enjoying the Mediterranean cuisine. It offers many types of pasta, from classic to rather unusual, for example, black cannelone. But, to be honest, the restaurant guests adore this place just for pizza. Whatever you order, traditional margarita or pizza with duck and fruits in confiture, it is very tasty.
