The Higher Technical Institution - ITS Archimede Foundation was established in October 2010; among the founding members there are Higher Education Institutes, the Free Provincial Consortium of Syracuse, Universities, Training Bodies and private companies operating in the tourism and cultural heritage sectors. Since 2011 ITS Fondazione Archimede has started to provide post-diploma Higher Education courses on Tourism and Culture in Sicily.
