I've ridden horseback across India's Thar desert at midnight, walked the Serengeti with nothing but a fold up tent and a Masai guide, and climbed 6,000 feet up a jungle-covered mountain in Uganda to sit beside a 220-pound gorilla while she lunched on low-hanging leaves. On my bucket list: Antarctica, Upper Amazon, Greece, Morocco, Patagonia. Never stop exploring.

Travelling is my first love, followed by history, literature and good food. I like to combine everything on my travels. I want to get the best out of what the world has to offer.
Travel Blogger since 2012, I've been in 75 countries, I live in Rome and I'm in love with Italy. I'm a travel psychologist, nature lover, dogs lover.
I'm a New Zealand-based travel expert based in the South Island, and love nothing more than to hit the road and explore new places near me. Luckily, there are so many remote back roads throughout the South Island that I can get to quite easily. My favourite places are the Marlborough Sounds--especially the drive to French Pass, at the end of Pelorus Sound--as well as the Great Coast Road between Punakaiki and Greymouth, and the roads around Haast, at the bottom of the West Coast. I've also travelled extensively around other parts of the world, and I also specialise in travel to Nepal and India (although I prefer to travel through the mountains on foot in these places than by road!) When I'm not travelling or working on a creative project I can usually be found tinkering with my newly purchased, 70-year-old house in Nelson, New Zealand.

I am a Co-Founder of Global Convoy: an Adventure Overland Experience community, getting people to work together outside their comfort zone. As well as co-creating these meaningful experiences, I am a freelance writer and community manager. I enjoy bringing people together, to learn, explore and grow from shared experiences. When I am not on the road physically doing this, I enjoy sharing my experiences with others through writing and hosting events for those working in and interested in travel and tourism. I am a freelance writer for Indie Travel and The Fact Site as well as a chapter leader for Travel Massive. I believe we can gain so much life experience through travel and being introduced to how others live. I am a creative being and in my spare time, I enjoy drawing and photography, and I find inspiration in culture, history, and travel.
An all-round sustainability enthusiast, I try to travel thoughtfully while respecting both environment and local community as much as possible. Years ago I created and wrote for a travel blog as a hobby, then in 2020 I decided to make my passion for travel my job, becoming a certified Travel Designer and tourism planning expert. I have worked with an important DMC in Southeast Asia and now I am a Travel Consultant for an Italian tour operator. I am also currently living in Tenerife to work on a sustainable project here on the island. My travels are a mix of planning and improvisation, I like studying each destination to find the solutions with the best value for money and I follow my instinct in search of typical dishes and authentic traditions of each place I visit.
Hi, I'm Elle – a freelance journalist specialising in travel, lifestyle, wellbeing and social change. Born in Cardiff, Wales and based in Provence, France, I write and travel to make sense of the beautiful, changing world around me (while sharing some stories along the way). There are few things I love more than a road trip – accompanied by a peaceful playlist and a warm flask of tea!
I am a lifelong traveler, having grown up taking cross-country trips in my family's RV. My education and work has taken me all around the world, from teaching in Basque Country to writing in Thailand and beyond. Though I am always down to hop on a plane, nothing makes me more excited than packing up the car with my dogs and gear and taking a road trip. My dream is to drive from the United States all the way down to the southern tip of South America.
I caught the travel bug when I was ten when my parents took me and my sister on a US road trip. A decade later, I started running children's adventure tours in France and then moved on to designing and running adventure tours for adults in the USA, Europe and the Middle East, and travelling independently when I wasn't working. In my late 20s, I set up a community tourism venture in Thailand and started working for a sustainable tourism charity that would later become The Travel Foundation, where I spent the next few decades working to make sure that travel and tourism became something that was as positive and enriching for the local people as it was for the visitor. Over the years I've been fortunate enough to work for governments, businesses and charities all over the world, creating new tourism products and itineraries and helping small local entrepreneurs reap some of the benefits of tourism. I've never lost my passion for travel and have recently 'retired' to Portugal so that I can get a new camper van and spend more time doing what I love.
