Travelling is my first love, followed by history, literature and good food. I like to combine everything on my travels. I want to get the best out of what the world has to offer.
Darcy Tuscano, an avid traveler, is also a journalist, content creator, social media manager and editor who has worked in marketing, advertising, and non-profit education in New York City, Asia and Europe. An experienced writer, blogger and public speaker, with a passion for adventure, her professional and volunteer work have led her throughout four continents and 35 countries. In 2019 she was featured as a keynote speaker at the Bali Family Adventure Summit, a week-long venture for traveling families seeking educational alternatives. A member of the Luena Foundation, an NGO providing critical services to vulnerable children, she formerly held the position of Staff Writer and Copy Editor of the family travel magazine “Everywhere”. Darcy is deeply committed to education equality with a focus on LGBTQ issues and her humanitarian aid work has brought her to the front lines of the refugee crisis in Greece and Turkey. Originally from the USA, Darcy has lived and worked in Japan, France, Thailand and Spain. Her future plans include returning to South East Asia and devoting her time to organizations involved in championing the rights of human trafficking victims. A single mom, she is currently raising her children in a coastal southern Spanish village where she embraces learning a new language, culture and customs. Darcy, whose motto is “Don’t Call it a Dream, Call it a Plan” is a writer, baker, yogi, swimmer, singer, music lover and avid hiker who has walked the Camino de Santiago three times.
I am the co-founder of Ruta del Mate, a family travel blog, and Go Patagonic, a niche blog about Argentinian and Chilean Patagonia (one of my favourite regions in the world). I've written inspirational travel content for Skyscanner, Expedia and Trivago Magazine. A travel-dream that came true: 14 months of travel in Europe and Asia (30 countries visited). Other jaw-dropping experiences: riding the Trans-Siberian Railway, visiting Tibet, taking a close look at the Darvaza Crater in Turkmenistan, going on a safari in Kenya and Tanzania, flying in a hot air balloon in China, among others. Today, I am settled in Spain, travelling with the family, and looking forward to a semi-nomadic-van life.
I have traveled (solo!) throughout the United States (including Alaska and Hawai'i), Europe, Central America, and South/Southeast Asia. I lived in Central Europe while I was a Fulbright Fellow and lived and worked throughout Western Europe! I have lived on every coast in the United States and have traveled to each state at least once.
I was born and raised in Texas and I've been everywhere in the state there is to go (almost). I lived in New York City for over a decade and have traveled throughout Europe. I love to go off the beaten path and find those hidden jewels between cities. I'm a journalist and pop culture critic who has been on staff at Refinery29 and CBS Radio and written freelance for Esquire, Yahoo!, Wired, Salon, the A.V. Club and more. My love of music means I make all the necessary (and some unnecessary) playlists for every road trip.
Hey y'all! I'm Lori, a traveler with a serious road trip obsession. I've driven over 100k miles solo, mostly sleeping in my car or a tent. The perfect road trip is full of good surprises, vibrant sunsets and delicious food. When I'm not on the road, I live in Georgia, USA, where I spend time creating content for my own travel website or for other brands and tourism organizations.
Video journalist, specialist in digital communication and branded content, and professional blogger at Mochileros TV. I’ve been working in the communications sector (Radio MARCA, Telecinco, Antena 3, etc.) for more than 20 years and for a decade as a consultant, content creator and event producer in the tourism sector. I took my first steps in television co-presenting a travel section on the programme Tips on Spanish national TV channel La2. In 2014, I was nominated for the Goya Awards in the category of Best Documentary Short Film with La Alfombra Roja. In 2006, I ventured out on my big trip: from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego by public transport. Some 45,000 kms, 15 countries and 11 months of travelling. And I haven’t stopped travelling since. I spent a year in India working as a correspondent for the EFE news agency. And I’m always coming up with new projects – like this one!
I'm a New Zealand-based travel expert based in the South Island, and love nothing more than to hit the road and explore new places near me. Luckily, there are so many remote back roads throughout the South Island that I can get to quite easily. My favourite places are the Marlborough Sounds--especially the drive to French Pass, at the end of Pelorus Sound--as well as the Great Coast Road between Punakaiki and Greymouth, and the roads around Haast, at the bottom of the West Coast. I've also travelled extensively around other parts of the world, and I also specialise in travel to Nepal and India (although I prefer to travel through the mountains on foot in these places than by road!) When I'm not travelling or working on a creative project I can usually be found tinkering with my newly purchased, 70-year-old house in Nelson, New Zealand.
Hi, there! I'm Valentina who enjoys doing three things - reading, writing, and traveling. I love discovering new places and helping people find the most interesting sights.
I'm an experienced travel writer specialising in green escapes and family-friendly getaways. All adventures start by stepping out your front door, which is why I'm busy exploring the best of South East England – Kent and Sussex – and the many cultural delights of London.
Linn is a full-time traveler and travel writer with a passion for sustainable travel, slow travel, and everything nature-related adventures. She passionately writes about all this on her travel blog Brainy Backpackers, hiking blog Andalucia Hiking, and destination blogs Amused by Algarve and Amused by Andalucia. She has been based in southern Spain for about 10 years, but is now living the van life and going where the wind blows her.
Natural born communicator, I enjoy travelling mixing careful organization and planning with magical on-the-spot-improvisation. Always interested in meaningful travel: not just covering miles, but producing amazing memories to share and treasure. Music, nature, culture, gastronomy, wellbeing, history, cooperation, sports, challenges... anything can spark off a new trip! Lost count of visited countries after reaching 60 -a decade ago-, and several of passports fully stamped. Experiences I can share go from ridding the whole Transiberian route, dancing tango next to Iguazú falls, fine dininig overlooking Niagara, admiring the Northern lights in Iceland, floating in the Dead Sea, partying with musicians in La Havana, learning about Incas in Perú, flying in a hot air balloon in South Africa... to kayaking around Manhattan or sailing to catch unforgettable sunsets in different islands of the Mediterranean sea. People over places.
