My surroundings

This is my home! In the morning, come here to enjoy walking in the freshest air. This hamlet is located on several walking and cycling routes through the Dutch agricultural landscape, with cows and sheep, dikes, canals and ponds, protected bird meadows, overflow land behind the dikes and lovely old villages. A nice walk is the Dik Trompath, that is specially meant for children, named after the children's books by writer C. Joh. Kieviet.

When you finish walking, come here for a cup of coffee and tasty breakfast before going further. I recommend trying the carrot cake and the apple pie.
