You can say that this is a living museum, which presents the relic vegetation, which has remained unchanged since ancient times (about 30 million years ago).
Based on the name, the grove is widely represented by Yews berry and evergreen trees of Colchis boxwood, the wood of which sinks in water. The largest specimens of yew trees are up to 30 meters high and up to two thousand years old.
There are two routes for tourists: the Small Ring (1.5 km) and the Big Ring (5 km). Small ring is suitable even for walks with children, as the trail is paved and you need 30-40 minutes to pass the route leisurely.
The large ring is a forest trail (gravel in places) and is suitable for those who like to wander longer.
