Biarritz, Bayonne, Espelette and the Pintxos capital, Donostia-San Sebastian

The first day of this road trip takes in scenery from the white sand beaches of Biarritz, to the chocolate-filled streets of Bayonne. Then up into the hills to Espelette, where hot peppers are king. Back down to the coast and then over the border into the northern part of Spain. Donostia-San Sebastian is the Pintxos capital of the world - so prepare yourself for a filling night of snacking and Sangria.
