On the second day, I've planned for you a trip to the northern part of the North Holland region. Admire the local scenery, visit naval museums and enjoy the sunset on a beach. In the evening, you will be back to Amsterdam.

Roode Steen
The Roode Steen or Cheese Market is a square in the centre of Hoorn, the intersection of six streets and alleys. In the middle of the square stands the statue of Jan Pieterszoon Coen, a VOC governor, made by Ferdinand Leenhoff. As you can see by the name of the square, cheese market is held here during weekends.
