    Sobor Uspeniya Presvyatoy Bogoroditsy

Zvenigorod town is a historical place. It was built at the turn of the XII-XIII centuries and was a residence of Zvenigorod princes. From Ivan Kalita's chronicle decree of 1399, we can learn that there was a fortified fortress on the territory. The Kremlin was needed for protection against Tatar-Mongolian armies on the approaches to Moscow.
Later Yuri Donskoy (son of Dmitry) built eight-meter earth ramparts with clay cover around the walls of the town, built several corner towers with loopholes, a wooden princely terem and a white-stone Assumption Cathedral.
Assumption Cathedral is one of the samples of the classic Old Russian style. Its main feature - made by the famous Andrei Rublev and his students frescoes of the inner walls.
Today the traveler can see only the ramparts and the Assumption Cathedral.

    Savvino-Storozhevskiy Monastyr'

Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery was founded at the end of the 14th century by St. Savva, a disciple of Sergius of Radonezh. It is believed that it was to this monastery that Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich first granted the status of a Lavra. There are operating churches, Palace of Alexei Mikhailovich of XVII century and Tsaritsyny palaces on the territory of the monastery. In the latter you can see the restored interiors of boyars' rooms, household items, fabrics, women's decorations of the XVII century and tile stoves. Also at the monastery there is a library with a collection of 6.5 thousand volumes.
Information about the services can be found at website.

    Kupchiy Dvor

"Merchant's Yard" is a commercial and cultural complex for leisure and shopping. In this stylized space you can see old photos and plans of the city. The stores also deserve attention: you can buy in the eco-market with the beautiful name "Lavender" or in the grocery store called "Happiness! Or you can see with your own eyes the objects of folk crafts and handicrafts (and buy them if you want). Clothes, paintings, antiques - you can find it all here.
