Extraordinary trades in the Urals

Many people know that in the town of Berezovsky near Yekaterinburg there is a Museum of Gold. However, not everyone knows that there is also a private mine museum - a real interactive attraction for children and adults.
In the two halls of the museum (underground and above-ground) you can visit the forge and stone-cutting shop, as well as "the only correct canonical and the first gold panning workshop in Russia".

On the northern outskirts of Berezovsky, near the Pyshma River, you can find a piece of real desert. The sand, left over from gold mining, comes to this place through pipes from the mines. In the center of the desert there are two lakes with clear water of a bluish color. Bathing in them is not recommended because of the high content of copper and all kinds of metals and salts.
The best way to get to the landfill is from the northeast, where there is no fence and the road stretches right up to the sands.

We return to Berezovsky to grab a bite to eat at the Luch Coffee House. On the menu, in addition to a huge selection of quality coffee and wonderful desserts, you can find quite a wide selection of main courses to enjoy in a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Not far from the village of Aramil there is a "Park of Skazov" - a charming place for children and adults. Here you can go down to the cave of the Mistress of the Copper Mountain, see the reconstruction of the Mansi people settlement and beavers' huts, visit the contact zoo and Baba Yaga's hut. And you can also go for a ride on the stove (yes, yes!), take a steam bath and much more. You can buy tickets to the park directly on the official website.
Please note that the park is closed on Monday and Tuesday!

Closer to sunset we stop in Sysert and immediately go to Besson's mountain. Before the Peasants' War the mountain was called Karaulnaya - there was a guard post, which helped to prevent sudden raids of the Bashkirs.
At the top of the hill is a huge cast-iron cross weighing 23 tons, made at the Sysert factory "Uralgidromash. It is considered one of the largest in Russia - it can be seen from anywhere in the city.

And a good place for dinner would be the Prozharka burger joint in Sysert. What can you try here apart from burgers? Asian noodles, country-style potatoes, juicy grilled meat. No one will remain hungry!
