Walks on estates and a cinema city

The first stop that was on our way south of Moscow was Gorki Leninskie. In addition to historic buildings and an unusual cubist-style building, you can find here a pond, a romantic rotunda on the shore, and an 800-year-old oak tree.

Here on the territory of the museum-reserve is an abandoned, but no less interesting Kinogorodok, where you can take unusual photos.

Next stop is the church near the Dubrovitsy estate near Podolsk. Amazing architecture for the suburbs. You would expect to see it somewhere in France, but not near Moscow. You can walk around on the beautiful territory along the river or in the park next to the manor.

In Serpukhov, I recommend stopping for lunch at Kitchen Market. It is rightly regarded as one of the best restaurants in the Moscow suburbs, according to reviews from locals and visitors to the town. The final stop for today is Bolotov Dacha. Each of the rooms is named after one of the plants that Andrei Timofeyevich Bolotov grew in his famous garden. Reservations can be made at this link.
