Have you ever seen a "trabucco"?

Finally you will find out how a trabucco is made. The trabucco di San Lorenzo in the opposite direction to the beach. On the end of San Lorenzo you will find the cave church of the same name (X - XII sec.). On the southern side of the beach you will find the former Convento of the Cappuccini friars (XVII sec.). Make the most of it and take a picture!

As I promised, the time has finally come to enjoy your day at the beach, to relax and have a swim! I hope you did not forget the sunscreen!

After a day at the beach you cannot miss a lungh at the Trabucco da Mimì! I recommend you to book a table ahead. This restauranti is really popular and finding a seat is quite hard!

After lunch you can go back to your b&b e to relax. The day’s not over, there are stil some amazing places to see and take a picture at.

One of the most enchanting places in Vieste is the Staircase of love, realized on the occasion of the 1st Vieste in Love painting the steps linkin the upper city gate of the old town to Corso Fazzini. On the steps of this unique staircase you will find the lyrics of the pop song “La Leggenda di Pizzomunno e Cristalda” , by Max Gazzè, an Italian songwriter. Take a seat and take a selfie!

Walking in the old town you will reach Punta di San Francesco, where you will have a tour of the church San Francesco. From via San Francesco, looking at the church, on the left side you will find the bay of marina piccola and the islet of Sant’Eufemia that houses the lighthouse, on the right there is a staircase that will bring you to an amazing cliff with thetrabucco and a great view of the old town overlooking the sea.

Just a short walk from punta san Francesco you will find the traditional restaurant Vecchia Vieste where you can stay for dinner. Don’t forget to taste some typical dishes, like the “muscisca” dried meat.

After such a long day I would go back to your b&b to relax after this last day before going back home.
