Travel Itinerary and Road Trip Route

Day 1: Walks around Greenville

Welcome to Greenville! Today you'll visit the City Museum of Fine Arts and the Zoo, as well as walk the most interesting routes.

NoMa Square

NoMa is the largest square in the city center, and one of Greenville's favorite leisure destinations. It is home to local music bands, sports events and masterclasses. In the fall, it even hosts its own Oktoberfest!

Greenville County Museum of Art

After looking at the chopped asymmetrical forms of the building, one can assume that it's a museum of contemporary art. However, there are also works by classics such as the outstanding portraitist George Healy.

Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria

After viewing the museum collection, go for lunch. Barley's Taproom & Pizzeria is the perfect place for that. And here, perhaps, is the largest selection of beers in the entire city.

Greenville Zoo

At Greenville Zoo you can watch the amazing inhabitants of the jungle and savannah. You can buy animal food at the entrance. Educational programs and workshops for children are regularly held here.

Liberty Bridge

A walk along the Reedy River will lead you to the Liberty Bridge, where you can take beautiful pictures against the background of river rapids.

Soby's New South Cuisine

We'll finish our acquaintance with Greenville with dinner at a restaurant with excellent cuisine and cozy loft interiors. Low country cooking in modern style!

Day 2: Relaxing in nature

Today it is better to have breakfast at the hotel and go exploring the Paris Mountain National Park early in the morning.

Paris Mountain State Park

This is a real treasure located on the outskirts of Greenville - Paris Mountain State Park. The park has several hiking trails of varying difficulty, where you will see stunning landscapes with lakes, meadows and tall trees. The fastest way to get to the park is by taxi. But those who love active pursuits and are not afraid of long walks can walk to the park or rent a bike in the centre.

Pho 99

After long walks, you need a tasty lunch. This is what you get in the Vietnamese restaurant Pho 99. Visitors note that the pho soup is great. Check for yourself!

Timmons Park

Returning to the city centre, you can walk through the parks and get some fresh air.

McPherson Park

Continue your stroll before dinner and look in another pleasant park.

Sassafras Southern Bistro

Final dinner of the trip in a nice place right in the heart of the city.
