Make your way to the beach for practising water sports. You will be given all the equipment, and experienced instructors will give all the instructions for you to be safe and enjoy it to the fullest.
Feel free to spend some time at the beach after the activities!

The best way to get to the iconic Sanctuary of Santa Luzia is to take the funicular up the hill. Enjoy the ride with incredible views of the city and the coast! Park next to the entrance and continue by the funicular.

Sanctuary of Santa Lucia is an iconic mountaintop church inspired by the Parisian Sacré-Cœur. It was designed in Eclecticist style, mixing Neo-Gothic and Byzantine styles.
The rose windows on this building are the largest on the Iberian Peninsula, and leading craftsmen were brought in to work on the frescos, sculpture, and altar, sculpted from Vila Viçosa marble.
You will be impressed by the surrounding views of Viana do Castelo’s old town, the Atlantic, the River Limia, and the pine-topped hills in three directions!

A quick stroll from the sanctuary atop Monte de Santa Luzia is an Iron Age fortified settlement inhabited from the 7th century BC up to Roman times.
People had known about this lost town for hundreds of years before excavations started at the end of the 19th century.
Today only one-third of this vast site has been uncovered.
