You will have the option to hike Stewart Falls near Sundance Resort and Salamander Flat in the center of the Alpine Loop. You'll end your journey with a 20-mile scenic drive along the Alpine Loop and dinner at the Harvest Restaurant at Thanksgiving Point.

If driving this route in the winter, instead of hiking to Stewart Falls, you can hike onto the Alpine Loop road since the snow is packed down by maintenance workers. You can then return the way you came and complete your route via I-15 to the Harvest Restaurant.

Continue past the resort to park for the Stewart Falls Trailhead. This is a 3.4-mile out-and-back trail that takes you through Aspen groves with views looking up at Mt. Timpanogos. The trail ends at the scenic 200-foot-tall Stewart Falls.
