Durdle Door and the Isle of Portland

On your second day, after a good breakfast at the hotel, you'll be heading west where the first stop is the iconic Durdel Door and the scenic Man O'War Beach. Breathe in the morning breeze of the English Channel.
Hiking at Man O'War Beach is best in the early morning. You'll enjoy lots of fresh air, not too many tourists, and great views.

Durdle Door is a well-known, and probably one of the most photographed, natural landmarks of the South Coast of the UK. There's also a nice beach, but I suggest going a bit further to the west to get the best view of this rock formation from above.

Now, return to your car and enjoy some more interesting stops before heading back to London.

Lulworth Castle, located just 10 minutes from the Cove, was built in the 17th century. Originally, it was a hunting lodge for the aristocracy and royalty. For centuries, it has been owned by the Weld family, who are still the owners of the Estate. The surrounding grounds are great for walking or having a lovely picnic.

The Crab House Cafe is the place to be for seafood lovers. The main draw is the crab, and you can literarily enjoy a whole crab for lunch! Other options on the menu are also worth a try.

Leave your car in this car park and enjoy a five-minute walk to admire another outstanding location.

Pulpit Rock in Portland is one of the most popular attractions of the area. It was formed in the 19th century thanks to the quarrying activity. It's also the southernmost point of the Isle of Portland, with great panoramic views of the surrounding waters.

If you are up for more sightseeing, before leaving the Isle of Portland, visit Portland Castle. Henry VIII's coastal fort, built in the 1540s during the French and Spanish invasion. The castle also played a big role in the First and Second World Wars.

Now it's time to head back home. Luckily, there's a fast charging spot on your way at the BP station. It's part of the BP Pulse network. Here are the specifications:
