We will go to the ancient city of Tver. We will visit some monuments: to liquidators of Chernobyl NPP accident consequences, to Afanasiy Nikitin and Obelisk of Victory. Day 1: Interesting places Tver

The day will begin with a visit to the museum of the Tver goat, then we will visit the museum of Tver life, take a ride on the Ferris wheel and admire the views from a bird's eye view. In the afternoon we will visit the most significant monuments of Tver and walk along the Volga River.

You will learn about how the locals lived in different historical periods. There are 2 permanent exhibitions here. The first one is dedicated to Russian samovars. You will learn the history of the samovar, see different kinds of samovars, teahouses and other utensils used for tea drinking. The second exhibition is devoted to the interior decoration of the houses of Tver merchants of the XIX century. It presents antique furniture, books, clothes, toys and other household items. The monument is located opposite the place from where the famous merchant and traveler went to India. A massive bronze statue is mounted on the observation deck, which is stylized as a ship's deck and the bow of the ship is made in the form of a horse's head.

Square dedicated to the liquidators of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. From the Tver region the liquidators of the accident were about 3000 people. There is a monument depicting a man with his hands stretched out to the side, which symbolizes the protection of people from radiation.
