Trani and Its Surroundings: Little Taste of Art and Nature

Welcome to this tour to discover Trani and its surroundings. I want to start with a splendid image of a fairytale sunset in the quaint harbor. One of the main attractions, a place rich in history, religious and cultural events, the fulcrum of daily and social life in the city. Catalyst of interest from visitors from neighboring cities as well as from foreign tourists. On the first day we will give you a little taste of the city starting from the main monuments such as the Cathedral, the Swabian Castle and the Jewish quarter of the Giudecca. In the afternoon, however, we will take you to a farm in the countryside of Trani where you will have the opportunity to visit a modern oil mill and take a nice bike ride among the colors and scents that nature offers you..

One day in Trani is not enough .. really not even two .. because this beautiful town should be visited calmly to be able to appreciate it to the fullest .. On this third day of our "Little taste of Puglia" itinerary we will introduce you to one of the most important monuments in the area, the famous Frederick's castle of Andria, which has been included in Unesco heritage sites since 1996. A Castle that preserves history, charm and mystery .. After visiting the castle you can taste excellent local specialties in a characteristic masseria and finally immerse yourself in nature by riding in the evocative landscapes of the Murgia.

Today we will visit a lesser known town but not devoid of both cultural and landscape attractions. It will be a day full of emotions .. we are sure .. First we will visit Barletta, its monuments, the splendid Pinacoteca and enjoy an excellent fish-based lunch. In the afternoon, a total immersion in nature in the romantic Margherita di Savoia salt pans rich in flora and fauna and to conclude a relaxing swim in the long and sandy beaches of Barletta. How about you like the program?

Today we will have the opportunity to get to know two towns Molfetta and Giovinazzo, both overlooking the sea. We will admire in particular their main churches dedicated to the cult of the patrons of the cities; but above all we will visit their characteristic historical centers and immerse ourselves in the daily life of the inhabitants in contact with crafts and gestures of other times ..

We will conclude our tour with a postcard of Puglia..Polignano a mare. A visit to this town alone makes a trip to Puglia an opportunity not to be missed. On this last day we will first visit the historic center and a splendid abbey directly overlooking the sea. In the afternoon we will take you to discover the sea caves with a boat ride among the most beautiful and in the evening .. last but not least .. a dinner in one of the most romantic and evocative "Grotta Palazzese" restaurants.
